We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer Automatic Doors to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist construction recruitment consultancy.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining automatic doors and entrance systems in North England. This field service engineer position requires strong technical knowledge of automatic door systems and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough fault finding, stripping down, and repair of automatic door systems and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is left in safe working order, adhering to BS 7036 and BS EN16005 safety standards.
- Submit detailed reports on work carried out, findings, stock used, and video evidence of doors in working order.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills at all times.
- Avoid accidents by adhering to H&S practices.
Requirements:
- Proven engineering experience with automatic doors/entrance systems.
- ADIA/ADSA BS EN 16005 accreditation is mandatory.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- IT literacy (Microsoft Office) and full UK driving license required.
- Motivated, highly organized, and a team player.
