Pediatric Critical Care Nurses for Air Medical Transports in the UAE

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Neonatal and Critical Care Nurses for Air Medical Transfers. As part of a specialized medical team, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care during transportation via air, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients. This role is essential for facilitating urgent transfers between hospitals and specialized care centers across the region and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inflight Patient Care: Deliver high-quality critical nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients during air medical transfers.
  • Medical Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess the patient's condition using advanced medical equipment, responding swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, paramedics, and ground crew, to ensure smooth patient transfers and optimal care during transport.
  • Pre and Post-Transfer Preparation: Assist with the stabilization of patients prior to transfer and ensure comprehensive care upon arrival at the destination medical facility.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough medical records, including patient progress and condition during the flight, for handover to receiving medical staff.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure that all medical equipment used during the transfer is properly functioning, adequately stocked, and in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
  • A 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Specialization in Pediatric Neonatal or Critical Care Nursing with at least 3 years of experience
  • Experience in Air Medical Transport or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is highly preferred
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required
