We are seeking a skilled Social Media Content Creator to join our experienced in-house Communications team at Wessex Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating engaging content that resonates with our customers across different social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and produce content for regularly scheduled posts across all social media channels
  • Self-shoot and edit photography and video content, ensuring multiple versions are optimized for each channel
  • Work closely with our creative teams to manage the creation of graphics and visual assets from brief to posting
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends and bring forward ideas that align with the company and meet objectives
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with teams across the business to ensure we are keeping customers up to date with the latest news
  • Drive engagement with our customers and other stakeholders through community management and responses where appropriate
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to put in place learnings from video analytics and monthly social media reports
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to develop a social strategy with the aim to grow brand awareness, increase engagement and drive traffic from our social media channels

We are looking for someone who has experience in creating short-form videos, has strong writing skills, a passion for social media and loves to work as part of a team. Being proactive and having excellent communication skills is an important part of this job.
