Sugarman Health & Wellbeing is currently seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Sandbach. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to an individual with autism. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and supporting the individual with managing risks and meeting their needs.
Key Tasks:
- Assist the individual with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
- Encourage participation in activities, such as water play, watching TV, and walking
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the individual, while also promoting independence and autonomy
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities
- Ability to work flexibly and provide support during various shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to form positive relationships with the individual and other stakeholders
Working Conditions and Salary:
- Shifts available: 0800-2000 Days, 2000-0800 Waking nights
- Competitive salary of £13.50 per hour (enhanced hourly rate on Bank Holidays)
