Ecommerce Administrator Role

Our business is a leading independent timber and builders merchant, providing a range of services from general building materials to specialist timber engineering. We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Administrator to join our team based in Newport, Isle of Wight.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a great working environment, competitive pension, and generous staff discount scheme.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Microsoft Excel, particularly with formula and v-lookup capabilities, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for supporting the continued development of our company website, including collating and managing product and supplier data, enriching website data, writing product descriptions, and uploading content to our Magento CMS.

The ideal candidate will have a natural aptitude for Microsoft, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. They will also be motivated to complete data tasks to a high level of accuracy and possess first-class communication skills, both written and verbal.

In addition to their technical skills, they should have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex ideas clearly. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, with excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. They should be proactive, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
