Claims Technical Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Technical Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Claims Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and monitoring outcomes using data and supporting improvements through technical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operational leadership to review and monitor outcomes using data and supporting improvements through technical development.
- Identify technical needs/themes for individual colleagues with the creation and delivery of technical development.
- Deliver new colleague training and act as sign off of new colleagues from the academy period through to being out 'on the floor'.
- Use data gathered through audits and team leaders to identify systemic/thematic development requirements and create and implement solutions.
- Support the Contact Centre Leader/Ops Manager to develop the technical strategy for the function and collaborate with other technical and operational leaders to agree and deliver solutions covering learning and development, process and governance plus letter content.
- New start content SME/annual review and maintenance, during academy and beyond the creation and delivery of all function specific training for the department.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the motor claims journey.
- Great attention to detail with the ability to be a strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with the ability to coach and support colleagues.
