Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and Complex Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised behaviour interventions to children with challenging behaviour
- Work on a 1:1 basis with children who have SEMH, Autism, and Complex Needs
- Ensure the child's safety at all times
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement behaviour plans
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEMH, Autism, and Complex Needs
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service
