At Jark - Worcester, we are seeking a highly skilled Toolmaker to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing milling machines, grinders, and lathes to create precision tools and dies.
  • They will work from Engineering drawings to design and manufacture tooling and fixtures, ensuring accuracy within tight tolerances.
  • Benchmarking and calibrating equipment using CMM technology is also an essential part of the role.
Requirements:
  • Applicants should have time-served experience as a skilled Toolmaker.
  • Proficiency in operating all toolroom machinery and hand tools is required.
  • Familiarity with working with various materials and achieving precise tolerances is essential.
  • Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings, the ideal candidate will also possess skills in using a range of measuring equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels are also necessary.
