About Search Consultancy

We are excited to partner with a dynamic company based in Leeds to find an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts assistant role, with a good understanding of general accounting principles. Experience in credit control and purchase ledger would be highly valuable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reporting
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate processing of financial transactions
  • Support month-end and year-end procedures
  • Contribute to VAT returns and compliance-related tasks

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with experience in an accounts assistant or finance-related role. You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and be proficient in accounting software (such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
