Our Cambridge office is located in the city centre, offering excellent public transport links and cycling facilities. As a Structural Engineer, you will be based in this office, working on projects across Higher Education and Science, Residential, Workspace, and Warehouses and Logistics sectors.

About the Role

With a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, you will support the Building's team in delivering projects efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Implementing project requirements to meet client specifications and relevant standards.
  2. Preparing discipline designs, drawings, and schedules as identified in the Project Quality Plan.
  3. Planning assigned projects and preparing scheme evaluations, design statements, and tender documents.
  4. Designing, managing, and preparing interpretation of ground investigation contracts.
  5. Carrying out other duties as identified in the Project Quality Plan.

What Qualifications, Experience & Skills are required?

Essential

  • Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an engineering organisation.
  • Experience working on building structures projects, design, calculations, and consulting.
  • 2 years minimum post-grad experience.
  • Excellent communication skills; Verbal & Written.
