Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a varied portfolio of projects both in the UK and internationally.
- Produce detailed designs and drawings using the latest digital techniques.
- Use computer modelling software to develop innovative solutions.
- Undertake site surveys and communicate with project teams and clients.
- Take responsibility for design coordination with other disciplines and professionals.
- Manage the discipline of a small project.
Requirements
- An expected or achieved 2.1 or above IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- A master's or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
- An understanding of CAD or similar modelling software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
