About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Roxby House, a specialist residential service rated CQC Outstanding. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the home, supervising a team of dedicated Adult Support Workers, and working as a proactive role model within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of Adult Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, complex needs, and/or learning disabilities.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the effective management of the service, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of person-centered care plans, ensuring that individuals' needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure seamless care and support for individuals.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care – Adults or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a similar setting, preferably in a residential environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Ability to effectively train individuals and groups, with a focus on developing the skills and knowledge of staff.
