About the Role:

This is a remote working opportunity with the possibility of attending court hearings. As a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice on Adult Social Care matters, including children's social care, education, and health. Your duties will include:

  • Providing legal advice and guidance to professionals and clients
  • Attending meetings and advising on Adult Social Care matters
  • Conducting advocacy in court and instructing counsel as necessary
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, policy, and regulations
  • Participating in training and development opportunities
About the Client:

Our client is a Midlands-based Local Authority seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team. As a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer, you will work closely with the Principal Lawyer and other professionals to provide expert legal advice and guidance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in Adult Social Care or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
