Job Summary: The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team in the Heathrow area. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) on various routes, including trunking runs and airport shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete trunking runs and trailer swapping as required
  • Operate HGVs on airport shifts, waiting for shipments to deliver to warehouses around Heathrow airport
  • Perform vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Be flexible and able to complete runs safely, adapting to changing circumstances as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience (Cat C+E)
  • Recent experience working as a driver for at least 60 days in the preceding 6 consecutive months
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license (no DR or IN endorsements)
  • Correct PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots

Working Conditions:

  • Various shifts, including days and nights, across seven days a week
