About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Care UK. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care staff are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Case manage residents and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring that all residents receive their prescribed medication in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Carry out risk assessments, identifying potential risks and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring that residents remain as active and independent as possible.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop services, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times, ensuring that our residents feel valued and respected.

About You

We are looking for someone who is well-organised, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately. You should have a proven ability to lead and supervise others, a good understanding of care planning processes, and experience in or a willingness to undertake training on administering medication.
