Academic Support Professional

Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust is seeking a dedicated HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to support the delivery of the Primary curriculum. This part-time, term-time position involves working 23 hours per week.
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will provide support to students, teachers, and the Academy to raise standards of achievement. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with monitoring, assessing, marking, and managing classes
- Supporting staff, students, and Academy policies and strategies
- Providing support for students' welfare and inclusion in all aspects of Academy life
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced levels of knowledge and skills in supporting teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
