About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Service. As a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-focused rehabilitation to individuals with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients with stroke and other neurological conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient independence and participation in daily activities.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to enhance their understanding of neurological conditions and rehabilitation options.
