We are seeking two Deputy Managers to join our team at a service based in Arthog, supporting children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural disorders.
Key Responsibilities- As a Deputy Manager in a 5-bedded home, you will be accountable for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- You will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
- You will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- You will be involved in the recruitment and selection of new staff, ensuring the team is equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Experience working in a residential care setting, preferably with children with emotional and behavioural disorders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
