Project Overview

Mace is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Division. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring high client satisfaction scores, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the project or programme delivery, achieving high client satisfaction scores.
  2. Work as part of an integrated project team, bringing together people with diverse skills and expertise.
  3. Ensure a safe and collaborative working environment where people thrive.
  4. Lead multidisciplinary teams in matrix organisations to meet client outcomes.
  5. Manage and outperform against the contract, typically NEC4.
  6. Contribute to the review of project performance and production of reporting to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Determine the project schedule and activities throughout the project life cycle.
  8. Develop detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from approved budget.
  9. Determine project risks and develop a project risk management plan, facilitating the risk review process and managing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks through the RMP.
  10. Prepare monthly reporting, ensuring reporting mechanisms are linked to on-time, on-budget delivery and implementing project management methodology.
  11. Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience working in a Project Management role, ideally within the transportation sector, and strong NEC3/4 knowledge.
  2. Digital savvy, able to build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams.
  3. Construction or project management background and a desire to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
