Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at MLK Education Search. The successful candidate will work with children aged 5-11 with severe learning difficulties and Autism.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with SEN children and have experience teaching SEN children, especially those with severe learning difficulties and autism.

The role involves designing and delivering engaging and enjoyable sessions to enhance learner engagement, creating and implementing Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) for each student, and working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for tracking and documenting student progress and attendance, supporting learners in developing self-regulation skills as needed, and managing a specific pathway, providing direct line management for the associated classes.
