Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Ambitek Limited in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with a salary of circa £37,000 per annum, plus overtime.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out skilled fitting and overhaul work within a rail production environment, meeting tight customer deadlines. This will involve maintaining a clean and organised work area, participating in requested training to enhance their role, safely handling manual tasks, possessing basic computer knowledge, and demonstrating physical capability to work in confined spaces and manually handle machinery.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess relevant mechanical fitting qualifications and experience working in a similar environment. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
