Job Title: Year 6 SEN Teaching and Learning Support

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching and Learning Support professional to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with special educational needs in a Year 6 setting, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality support to enhance their learning experiences.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with the teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide targeted support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and psychologists to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that all activities are tailored to meet the needs of students with special needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications or training.
