About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Account Manager to join our Sales team at Valeo Foods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our existing Snacks business and growing our portfolio within key High Street and Discounter accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage our agenda and team within this specific area, driving growth and profitability.
  • Maintain Customer P&Ls and identify opportunities to maximize commercial benefits within agreed financial parameters.
  • Negotiate Customer Terms using category and consumer data to secure incremental activity.
  • Develop Long-Term Customer Partnerships through effective business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the Team to develop and implement strategic plans and sector-specific initiatives.
  • Employ a Leadership Approach to the category when interacting with customers and contacts.
  • Monitor and Evaluate personal progress against KPIs, objectives, and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and Maintain professional and efficient working relationships with all internal functions.
  • Contribute to the Team's Performance through full commitment to business development and personal development.
  • Manage Key Commercial/Customer-Led Sales Projects.
Requirements
  • Strong Sales and Account Management Experience with demonstrable success within relevant customers.
  • Retailer Own Brand Experience and a strong level of judgement, drive, and influence to successfully deliver business objectives.
  • Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High Levels of Personal Accountability to deliver and exceed targets.
  • Ability to Negotiate and Agree Terms and secure incremental activity.
  • Excellent Forecasting Skills to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Prepared to Travel UK Wide for customer and Head Office meetings.
