About the Role

This role involves managing a comprehensive range of tax responsibilities, including developing and reviewing UK corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and employment tax returns. You will also coordinate with advisers in various countries to ensure compliance with local corporate income tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a comprehensive range of tax responsibilities, balancing both routine and new challenges.
  2. Develop and review UK corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and employment tax returns (non-payroll).
  3. Coordinate with advisers in Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and other countries to ensure compliance with local corporate income tax returns.
  4. Address UK tax inquiries and collaborate with advisers for non-UK inquiries.
  5. Assist in meeting transfer pricing obligations and work alongside the US Tax Team for group compliance and financial reporting.
  6. Provide expert advice to the business on various tax aspects as required.
  7. Collaborate on regional projects with the Global Head of Tax and monitor changes in tax legislation to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
Requirements
  1. In-depth knowledge of UK corporation tax, with a working knowledge of other UK taxes.
  2. Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail to identify risks and manage compliance.
  3. Capability to interpret and analyse financial data.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in UK corporation tax software.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including flexible working arrangements, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
