About the Role

Orona is seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team as a Trainee Lift Tester. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of our lifts, escalators, and moving ramps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with site representatives to prepare the site for installation
  • Update method statements and conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage technical aspects of the installation process, including lift control systems and electrical knowledge
  • Provide on-site support and communicate updates with all parties
  • Deliver training and guidance to site personnel
  • Test and commission lifts to ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation

Requirements

A full driving licence and experience as a Lift Installation Engineer are essential for this role.
