About the Job

As a Roadside Rescue Expert at The AA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to resolve vehicle breakdowns on the roadside.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be a communicator, able to explain complex technical issues to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • As a dedicated learner, you will be committed to ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • You will be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team to resolve vehicle breakdowns.
  • As a fixer/problem solver, you will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and repair a range of vehicle issues.

Requirements

  • You will need a NVQ 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
  • A full category B driving licence is essential, with 6 points or less. Category BE (towing) is also desirable, and The AA will fund the necessary training if required.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays is essential.
