We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Accountable Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Financial Planning: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of 2 direct reports and provide guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal control processes.
- Finance Business Partner: Act as a finance business partner to divisional leaders, providing financial guidance and support to drive business growth.
- Integration: Support the financial integration of new businesses into the company.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A qualified accountant with 3-5 years of post-qualified experience.
- Experience: Experience in a finance management role, preferably in a commercial organization.
- Skills: Strong technical accounting skills, leadership experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
