Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
We are working with City Facilities Management to recruit a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a key position, responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a designated site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance at your designated site, complying with company Health and Safety policy at all times.
- Complete all mandatory online training and evolve modules.
- Attend training courses as and when necessary by the company.
- Comply with the company policies and procedures.
- Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
- Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance scheduled within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
- Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
- Ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
- Work with the company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
- Support other City technicians/teams with any major or minor maintenance work.
- Previous experience in building maintenance is required.
- Good PC skills - Apple and Android.
- Full/clean UK driving license.
