CNC Service Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Get Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and breakdown support of various CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and effective breakdown support for CNC machinery, diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
  • Plan, install, and commission CNC machines at customer sites, ensuring machines are operational and meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and avoid unexpected downtime.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, providing technical advice and support both on-site and remotely.
  • Complete service reports, maintenance records, and relevant paperwork to ensure accurate and timely communication with the office and customers.

Requirements:

  • Service engineering experience, ideally with CNC machinery.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and experience with fault-finding on electrical systems.
  • Full, Clean UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally if required.
