Avionics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Engineer to join our team at Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of business aircraft and be part of an award-winning network.

• Troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.

• EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B2 and/or C.
• Up-to-date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
• Basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations.
• At least 6 months of actual relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
• Experience working with business aircraft, preferably Bombardier models.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
• Experience working on at least one aircraft type for each license (sub)category.
• Current on all training requirements.
• Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
• Effective communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Ability to use standard tools, special tools and operate ground support equipment.
• Ability to work in accordance with maintenance data and notify defects or mistakes.
• Computer skills and ability to use information systems.
• Business jet aircraft experience preferred.

Bombardier offers a competitive salary of around £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The estimated annual salary range is based on industry standards and location.
