Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: Lincolnshire and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
VINCI Facilities is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting condition surveys, overseeing repairs and maintenance, and managing cost control and design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Condition Surveys: Conduct regular surveys of primary schools, public sector buildings, and other facilities to identify maintenance needs and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Oversee minor works projects, including specification writing, tender documentation, contractor management, and basic contract administration.
- Cost Control & Design: Review and manage cost control and design changes during minor works projects to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- CAFM System: Regularly update and respond through the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, providing technical advice as needed.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, site personnel, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Asset Tagging & Compliance: Assist with the Asset Tagging programme and undertake compliance inspections of sites to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Temporary Works Inspection: Inspect minor temporary works such as scaffolding and fencing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Planned & Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Address any other property-related queries or instructions from the client as they arise.
