We are recruiting Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Shunter Drivers to work with a key client in the Worksop area. As a HGV Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving trailers around the site, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.

About the Role:

This is an ongoing opportunity for experienced HGV drivers who possess a valid Class 1 license. You will need to have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving full trailers to and from infeed docks in a timely manner
  • Ensuring empty trailers are secured on outbound docks
  • Communicating with the Warehouse team to ensure correct trailer allocation
  • Following site health and safety procedures when moving trailers
  • Avoiding damage to customer materials during transportation
  • Reporting any defects or incidents to Operations
  • Completing scheduled movements of trailers around the site
  • Sorting and prioritizing workload to meet time commitments
  • Accurately recording working and driving hours
  • Achieving productivity, service, and compliance targets
  • Complying with DHL's uniform requirements and ID policies
