About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Thegradcafe. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  2. Repair and Troubleshooting: Carry out repairs and fault diagnosis on equipment in a live environment.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  4. Health and Safety: Uphold all health and safety policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless operation of our facilities.
A Day in the Life

As a Reliability and Maintenance Specialist, you will be based on-site and will be responsible for responding quickly to any equipment issues. You will carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure our equipment is working safely and efficiently.

You will work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, including painting and plumbing, and will liaise with contractors as needed. You will work on a range of shifts to ensure our facilities are supported around the clock.

Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, preferably in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  3. Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
