About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with school-aged children, including those with complex needs, and contribute to the development of our SLT service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop therapy plans for school-aged children with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality SLT packages of care
  • Support the management of paediatric dysphagia and contribute to the development of our dysphagia service
  • Participate in clinical projects and developments of practice within the SLT service
  • Support supervision of newly and recently graduated SLTs and unregistered staff and volunteers carrying out SLT-related activities

Requirements
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council License to Practice
  • Recent experience in working with school-aged children, including complex needs
  • Ability to work county-wide and hold a valid driving license
