Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Operations Manager to join our team at the Financial Times group. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing our payroll operations across EMEA, ensuring flawless and timely payroll for approximately 1,800 UK and 30 international employees.

Your responsibilities will include serving as an in-house expert on payroll matters, providing advice on pay, tax, social security, pensions, and deductions. You will also coordinate and manage the payroll process from data entry to reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payroll legislation.

In addition, you will coordinate pension and benefits processing, ensuring compliance with the Pensions Regulator. You will provide timely responses to employee payroll and pension queries, maintaining a high standard of integrity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, proficiency in interpreting and applying payroll rules and regulations, and advanced proficiency in Excel and payroll systems. A strong knowledge of GPP schemes and pension administration is also essential.

A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on location, reflects the importance of this role.
