**Overview of the Position**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our academic team as an Academic Programme Leader. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Canine and Equine academic team and growing our provision in this area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute to the achievement of the University Centre's strategic plan and help to steer the development of our new curriculum offer
  • Work with Senior Leaders and colleagues to develop and drive operational enhancements
  • Teach on our undergraduate programmes and lead a small team of academic teaching staff
  • Take lead responsibility in specific areas of programme activity to contribute to improvement of KPIs

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in a related discipline
  • Experience of teaching within Higher or Further education is highly desirable
  • Self-motivated with ability to motivate others and enthuse learners to succeed
