Job Opportunity: Head of Corporate Communications

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Corporate Communications to join our team at HSS Hire. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage our stakeholders and promote our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement communication strategies to support business objectives, including media relations, crisis communication, and public affairs.
  2. Provide strategic advice to our Executive Leadership team on communication matters, including annual reports and press releases.
  3. Lead the communications strategy for confidential transformation projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  4. Collaborate with our talent team to build and maintain a strong employer brand, highlighting our company values and culture.
  5. Partner with our CEOs and Executive Leadership members to develop and manage communication plans that inspire our colleagues and enhance colleague engagement.
  6. Oversee the content development and maintenance of our company intranet, ensuring that it is a valuable resource for our employees.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A strong background in developing and implementing communication strategies, with experience of supporting change programmes.
  2. Notable previous experience of supporting Board level communications in a PLC environment, with extensive knowledge of AIM Rules, reporting regulations, and disclosure requirements.
  3. A strategic thinker, skilled in adapting communication plans and content for a range of audiences and leadership styles.
