Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee budgets and financial forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and analyze financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with local financial reporting requirements.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and coordinate audits (internal and external) and implement audit recommendations.
  • Operational Support: Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process, collaborate with APU managers to develop solutions for scrap, rework, OEE, productivity, and efficiency, evaluate the financial impact of supply chain decisions, and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs and improve reliability.
  • Capex Control: Assess the financial viability of proposed capital projects, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and provide recommendations to management on whether to proceed with the investment.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory accounting and oversee physical inventory counts, analyze inventory turnover rates, and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of finance working experience in manufacturing, with expertise in ERP systems (SAP FI/CO) and Microsoft skills.
  • Language: Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Chinese.
