Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative

Driver Hire Torbay is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to fill Warehouse Operative positions in our client's facility on the Heathfield Industrial Estate.

About the Role:
  • Environment: Primarily working within a freezer setting; candidates must be comfortable in cold conditions.
  • PPE: All necessary personal protective equipment will be provided.
  • Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE advance; other options available).
  • Payment Schedule: Weekly pay.
  • Guaranteed Earnings: Minimum 8 hours pay per shift, with additional hours paid at the same rate.
  • Flexibility: The more hours you work, the more you earn

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and store goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet productivity and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
