This key leadership position will involve managing these tax services and providing tax advice to a well-established client base.

Our client is a leading professional services firm with a particular focus on private client work, operating in the St Albans area. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality services and exceptional client care.

The successful candidate will have completed the CTA and/or STEP qualification, with a strong background in working with private clients and/or probate client portfolios, including experience of trusts & IHT. They will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and leading a small team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of Trust, Probate and Estate planning clients, including meeting with and onboarding new clients
  • Preparing & reviewing accounts and tax returns for trust & estates
  • Managing the probate process from start to finish
  • Providing strategic advice for Wills, Estate planning and IHT
  • Maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and support
  • Team leadership, delegating & reviewing work for team members, as well as providing training and mentoring
  • Supporting in business development for growth of the firm
