HR Advisor

MidKent College is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing proactive and effective HR advice and guidance to managers and staff across the college.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on employment law, policies, and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising, interviewing, and induction.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide training and development opportunities to managers and staff to enhance their HR knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement organizational change initiatives.
- Manage and analyze HR data to inform business decisions and improve HR processes.
- Proven experience in HR advisory or management roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
