Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab in Bedford, Bedfordshire. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the German Doner Kebab brand and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless restaurant operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, maintain a positive working environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English and computer literacy, with experience in restaurant management software.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to control costs and maximize profitability.
