Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability. They will work closely with colleagues to develop project specifications, often including those from other engineering disciplines.
You will be responsible for solving complex problems, developing mathematical models, and producing detailed specifications for designs. Additionally, you will recommend modifications following testing and ensure that all designs meet the required standards.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in mechanical engineering, ideally with a degree or relevant qualification. You should have at least three years of post-grad work experience and be proficient in 2D and 3D modeling, preferably using Inventor.
A solid understanding of heavy plant machinery design, particularly in the piling or mining industry, is essential. Experience with Autodesk Vault would be beneficial.
