About the Role

To be successful in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, requiring flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

We work closely with our colleagues to ensure that customers receive excellent service and support, whether it's discussing personal health issues or resolving customer problems promptly.

As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will be responsible for assembling and processing prescriptions accurately. You will also promote awareness of additional pharmacy services and assist the Pharmacist with patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes.

You will collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers and deliver them to the store for collection. To develop your skills further, you will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months. After that, you will progress to train as a Dispensing Assistant.
