Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Professional to join our team at BAE Systems. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, placing, and managing contracts to de-risk the programme. This role involves working closely with the Integrated Delivery Team and cross-programme key stakeholders, as well as maintaining reporting and managing information in line with programme requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, negotiating, placing, and managing contracts to de-risk the programme
  • Working in conjunction with the Integrated Delivery Team and cross-programme key stakeholders
  • Maintaining reporting and managing information in line with programme requirements
  • Maintenance and creation of Purchase Orders in SAP and associated purchasing systems
  • Accountability for all related supply chain activity in line with area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Experience in dealing with high-value and volume contracts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills across all levels
  • Strategic approach to tasks
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Equipment procurement experience

Benefits Package:

You'll receive a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive salary of £38,734 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a range of benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
