Join Investigo as a Category Manager and drive strategic procurement initiatives
About the Role
As a Category Manager at Investigo, you will be responsible for implementing a defined procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and meeting regulatory requirements for individual categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategic category plans to achieve savings targets, improve quality and service levels, and meet business objectives.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships at a senior level, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships to maximize efficiencies and value.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand business needs and support the development of commodity management strategies to identify and mitigate risk.
- Support and coach less experienced team members, deputizing for the Head of Procurement as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with the waste category within procurement.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
