About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Apprentice Talent Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of our future talent community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of our emerging talent strategy across SGN UK locations, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders to ensure talent programmes are effectively delivered.
  • Review and improve the talent development cycle, experience, and processes, ensuring the effective implementation of quality, strategic, and programme delivery improvement plans.
  • Manage the delivery of emerging talent activities across all SGN locations, using our internal Learning Management System (Cornerstone), internal and external training partners.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external training suppliers, colleges, universities, professional bodies, and internal SMEs/stakeholders.
  • Manage individual and programme learning & skills progression throughout the programme duration, offering advice and pastoral support to our emerging talent community.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR Directorate to support early talent recruitment campaigns, including school events, careers fairs, and assessment days.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver emerging talent induction programmes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of apprenticeship and/or graduate programme management within a highly compliant industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with stakeholders at varying levels, work to tight deadlines, prioritise varying workloads and project manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and ensure the situation is resolved as a priority.
  • Experience of funded learning programmes – i.e. ESFA/SDS funding regulations and apprenticeship frameworks/standards.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft office packages.
