Product Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Specialist to join our team at Major Talent. This role is responsible for reviewing specifications for branded and own label products, artwork in line with all labelling policies, and working to launch deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support external audits covering traceability from supplier to end customer.
  • Collaborate with the Food Technologist and Specification technologist as needed.
  • Assist the Technical department with GMP, hygiene, and internal audits.
  • Maintain the raw material supplier database.
  • Complete food safety risk assessments and specifications for raw materials entering the business.
  • Ensure new raw materials are sourced from approved suppliers and to acceptable specifications.
  • Cross-functionally coordinate and arrange Supplier visits.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits including pension scheme and 25 days annual leave.
