Part-Time Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Conveyancing Paralegal to join our busy team in Hertfordshire. This role involves working a job share arrangement, with a 3-day week one week and a 2-day week the next, alternating between Wednesday and Thursday, with occasional Fridays. The successful candidate will be required to cover the other half of the job share's holidays and be able to work a full week when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and handling enquiries
  • Managing a caseload and carrying out conveyancing work from exchange to post completion without dictation
  • Generating fees in accordance with agreed targets
  • Conducting land registry searches and completing necessary documentation with high accuracy
  • Drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
  • Administering systems, including daily filing and maintaining client files
  • Making appointments, arranging meetings, and maintaining a diary
  • Meeting deadlines and ensuring confidentiality of practice and client information
  • Complying with external legislative and compliance requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conveyancing and exchanging contracts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to deadlines
