Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced electronics professional to join our team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This role will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products used in the consumer electronics industry.

Job Summary

This is a hybrid job with approximately 3-4 days per week on site depending on the project work taking place. You will be working as part of a development department and will be required to manage, lead and coach other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping and bench testing
  • Act as the main initial point of contact for electronics
  • Produce work plans for the team, engineering reports and operating manuals

Requirements

  • Extensive experience developing electronic products
  • Proficiency with Altium 365 and similar tools
  • Proven experience of delivering high quality designs in a regulated environment
  • The ability to line manage, lead and coach other team members
  • Solid technical authoring ability
  • A driving licence is required as the site in Cambridge is difficult to reach by public transport
